  • Dr. Clare L. Leonard, OD

    Dr. Leonard graduated from the University of Alabama School of Optometry in 2001 with honors. She received both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Biology from UAB. Prior to attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham, she attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and was a member of the Million Dollar Band.

    During Optometry school, Dr. Leonard participated in the Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity and enjoyed providing eye care in Central America. She was also a member of the Golden Key and Beta Sigma Kappa honor societies. Dr. Leonard is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association.

    Dr. Leonard spends much of her time away from the office with her husband and children. She loves to travel with her family and experience different cultures. A big fan of the beach, you just might find her paddle boarding on Perdido Key on the weekends.
